Zay's New Necklace

Fae made Zay a necklace while waiting for him to get out of a meeting. It's an old tradition from her old village. You make a necklace for the ones you love the most. Children would make simple ones, usually out of flowers and herbs, but for couples, they used rocks, feathers, wood, pretty much anything they can get their hands on.

She was sitting in the capital's garden when she decided to make one of these for Zay. She used small rocks from some of the walk ways for the little grey fasteners, a piece of wood, which she carved into a bird, and small pieces of pottery from an broken pot for the bigger beads. She found some bird feathers in a flower pot. She used her own her and braided it to make the string.
